"This harpoon (dart) was made for hunting over a breathing hole. The line itself goes through the oonak (the shaft), then a knot is tied at the end of the line. That way the harpoon tip (naulak) and the animal would not be lost, should the hunter drop the shaft." Billy Gauthier 1. September 2022
