Description
Plants are more than healers or companions—they are vital threads in the fabric of cultural and ecological relationships. Across the circumpolar North and the Alpine regions, their essential roles are being recognized anew: as sources of medicine, as kin in many Indigenous worldviews, and as quiet yet powerful allies in the search for balance and sustainability. In traditional knowledge systems, plants are honoured not only for their healing properties but as active members of a living community that includes people, animals, spirits, and the land itself. They appear in rituals, folk practices, and everyday acts of care. At the heart of these connections lies the earth—soil that nourishes roots, holds memory, and links all beings across time and place. This exhibition invites you to reconnect with the wisdom rooted in plants and the land, and to reflect on what it means to live together on our shared planet
